Master Tarrance Alfred aka Master T started Martial Arts training in the summer of 1978 when he was a young tike. He wanted to follow in the footsteps of his family members who preceded him in the Arts. Master T immediately took a strong liking to the activity and found himself engulfed in Martial Arts the rest of his life. In 88' Master T received his first Black Belt in the art of Tang Soo Do, he later was awarded his Master Degree in Tang Soo Do as well as the Bomani Federation of Combat & Internal Healing Arts. Master T has had the honor and privilege of training with a number of Grandmasters, many of whom have been highlighted on ESPN, HBO and other media outlets.

Besides being a Master instructor, Master T is also an International Martial Arts Champion and Personal Trainer who has won top honors at some of the most prestigious tournaments like the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classics, North American Championships and Karate Fights Diabetes. Master T was Michigan's #1 Black Belt competitor 1997-2000 and was also inducted into the I.M.A.C. Hall Of Fame. During his competitive years Master T was one of only a hand full of National Martial Arts Experts to be picked up by a professional team and represent his country in three World Championships.

In the fall of 94' Master T created his holistic Martial Arts company (Design-A-Life,Inc.) which is dedicated to empowering individuals of all ages and walks of life. Master T has also created a number of programs aimed at educating individuals on how to become "true" leaders in our world. The Design-A-Life program has been implemented in numerous Detroit schools as well as Bally Total Fitness Centers & FORD Motor Co.

Thus far Master T has taught well over 4,000 students and clients in the esoteric art of focus and discipline, and is quickly becoming one of the most sought after Leadership Strategist and Personal Success Coaches of the 21st century.
